Genre-melding rockers SIKTH have a busy 2004 planned already! ‘Peep Show’, from their acclaimed debut album (‘The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out, Wait For Something Wild’), will be released as a download only single on March 29 2004. Available for two weeks only, the package will contain:

‘Peep Show’ (audio), ‘Peep Show’? (video), downloadable artwork
Release date: March 29 (for two weeks only)
A list of hosting sites will follow.

Then, fresh from both selling out London’s Mean Fiddler and their first ever shows in Ireland, the sextet have lined up a number of shows for the early part of the year.

This show is part of FUSELEEDS04 – a brand new music event with Arts Council backing. SikTh were specially invited to play by the Artistic Director.

The band then head to Japan for a number of appearances with Anthrax.

Work has also been completed on a behind-the-scenes documentary entitled ‘On The SikTh Day’. More about the band than by them, it was pieced together by Twisted Productions (run by Joel Bygraves, who plays Lee in The Office).

Filmed on location in Harpenden, Pinner, Hammersmith, Bedford & Maida Vale, it is a truly arresting visual treat. More details on this intriguing project will be released next week!
