The Friday Skive is a free acoustic event held at The Masque Bar, Seel Street Liverpool commencing every last Friday of each month. Organised by Black Sheep Productions an event management company and independent record label the event is aimed at local musicians, students and the unemployed encouraging them to hang out and interact in a chilled out mellow environment whilst watching local up and coming talent. The Friday Skive is also perfect for local artists to make contacts and network with other people within the music industry.
The Friday Skive returns to The Masque Bar on Friday 26th March, running from 3pm-6:30pm, and entry is free. There will be live acoustic performances from The Shores, Ritchie McGuirk & Chris Elliot as well as the usual last hour of open mic, welcoming anyone to come along and give us a song. With mellow sounds and cheap drinks the setting is perfect for you to relax and unwind whilst watching live music as a kickstart to your weekend.
