Cinerama Release DVD “”Get Up and Go””
David Gedges's Cinerama release a DVD, “Get Up and Go” on Easter Monday and UK tour begins April 10.
Scopitones have finally set a release date for Get Up and Go, film maker Tim Middlewick's long awaited Cinerama DVD. This Documentary follows the band as they perform and promote the album Torino with concerts, radio interviews and sessions around the United Kingdom. It also includes footage of the band performing an acoustic version of The Wedding Present's Corduroy and, in the extra features, Gedge talks openly about his influences and inspirations, his favourite records and his songwriting.
With the fly on the wall style of Get Up and Go, Middlewick has succeeded in capturing the highs and lows experienced by a band on tour.
Cinerama hope to begin recording their fourth album following their European/UK tour in April.
