Returning stronger than ever, with an inevitably more mature sound, British Rock trio InMe have announced the release of the first single from their second album. Entitled “Faster The Chase”, the track will be released on 24thMay 2004, and is supported by their first tour of the UK in over a year starting in Sheffield on 14th May 2004.

Faster The Chase is the first track to be taken from the as yet untitled follow-up to 2003's breakthrough debut album Overgrown Eden. Presented to radio and TV for the first time last week, this explosive new insight into InMe's second album received it¹s first play on Radio 1¹s Steve Lamacq, swiftly followed by being made Single Of The Week on Radio 1's Zane Lowe, as well as receiving plays on both XFM¹s Music Response and Rock Show. The video filmed in Canada with director Harv Glaser (responsible for all InMe's previous videos) was immediately added to MTV2 and Scuzz music channels.

The band are currently in Los Angeles, California recording the remaining tracks for the second album with producer Josh Abrahams whose recent successes include Linkin Park, Courtney Love, Korn and Limp Bizkit, bringing a whole new dimension to the distinctive InMe sound. The new album is due for release in September 2004.

Winners of Best British Band at the Metal Hammer “Golden God” Awards, voted by readers of Kerrang! as Best New Band of 2002 and nominated for two Kerrang! Awards, young Essex 3 piece InMe have impressively notched up 3 Top 75 singles, a Top 30 single and a Top 20 UK album chart position with debut 'Overgrown Eden' within the space of 10 months.

Launched with debut single 'UnderDose' in June 2002, InMe quickly struck a chord with their energetic, passionate, heavy yet melodic angst-ridden rock, which secured them a legion of loyal fans and critical acclaim. InMe have already appeared on the cover of Kerrang! Magazine twice and their first headline show at the London Astoria sold out a month in advance.
