The single and tour are set to be their most successful to date. The band is independent in the truest sense of the word; the label Smalltown America, through which ‘Brave Gravity’ will be released, was set up and is run by the band themselves. Lead singer Andrew Ferris attributes JPL’s success to ‘a huge army of volunteers and the determination of the community surrounding the group.’

Jetplane landing will release ‘Brave Gravity’ through Smalltown America Records on Monday, May 31st 2004. The single will be the third to be taken from the band’s critically acclaimed second album ‘Once Like A Spark’ and was preceded by singles ‘Calculate the Risk’ and ‘I Opt Out’.

‘Brave Gravity’ will be released on the limited edition CD Single. Tracklisting as follows:

1. Brave Gravity
2. We Are The Pragmatists (previously unreleased)
3. The New Standard (previously unreleased)

Ultimately optimistic and empowering, this track redolently boasts of the Police flirting with the penmanship of Death Cab For Cutie and provides a glimpse of the quartet's calmer side yet their trademark conviction and power remain unwaveringly intact.
