PITCHSHIFTER return with SikTh !!

Pitchshifter, the long standing titans of the UK alternative scene have decided to break their 'indefinite hiatus' and are hitting the UK with a short run of dates in October to celebrate the release of their forthcoming 'P.S.I.entology' DVD, also due for release in October.

Compiled by the band themselves and released on their own PSI Records Ltd, 'P.S.I.entology' features a thirteen song set recorded live in front of a riotous home crowd in Nottingham, alongside a wealth of audio and visual extras and bonus material.

“Originally we were just going to have a DVD 'play-back' party in the band's home town of Nottingham,” explains vocalist J.S. Clayden. “That quickly turned into a one-off DVD release party show, which snow-balled into a short run of DVD release party shows with us playing live!

“We received so many requests for a gig in the North that we decided to add Manchester. Of course we'd love to play everywhere but that's just not possible this time around. We hope that the addition of this date will make our Northern fans happy. See you down the front! Peace – J.S. Clayden”

“Midlands sonic scoundrels Pitchshifter took the anger and primitive power of English punk rock and forced it through the technology available to create a heaving in-your-face monster!”

Paul Raven, Killing Joke

“Pitchshifter were definitely one of the most influential British bands of the last ten years.”

Matt Davies, Funeral For A Friend

“Pitchshifter were the first big band to publicly support us, or offer us any help. I still remember seeing a Lost Prophets sticker on one of their guitars. It was kind of a stamp of approval from one of the bands we looked up to.”

Ian Watkins, Lost Prophets

Main support comes from the UK's SikTh. The dates are as follows.

October

6th – Portsmouth Pyramids

7th – Cambridge Junction

8th – London Astoria

9th – Rock City

10th – Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall

11th – Manchester – Academy 2 – BONUS DATE !
