Let the Colour Of Fire give you a Pearl Necklace

On August 9th 2004 Colour Of Fire release their eagerly awaited debut album ‘Pearl Necklace’ on Riverman Music in the UK and throughout continental Europe on PIAS.

After releasing two critically acclaimed singles in 2003 which gained them support from all areas of the press, TV (MTV2 and Scuzz) as well as success on Radio with sessions on the Radio 1 Rock Show and XFM with Ian Camfield and Claire Sturgess, Colour Of Fire spent the rest of the year locked away in a studio with famed produced Steve Osborne (U2, Suede, New Order) writing and recording new material. Surfacing only to play support shows for Placebo at the London Astoria and Brixton Academy, as well as Silverchair at the Shepherds Bush Empire, the quartet from York were busy developing and advancing their sound; wrestling to capture the essence of their live rapport onto the confinement of a CD.

‘Pearl Necklace’ sees them achieve this with an effortless swagger. It’s an album with elements of QOTSA, At The Drive-In and The Vines fused together to create a sound all of its own.

To support the release of ‘Pearl Necklace’ Colour OF Fire are playing following UK and European dates:
