Folk off with the Acoustic Engine

The Acoustic Engine presents Folk Off, every 3rd Monday at Stamps Bar, Crosby, Liverpool, presenting the best in singer-songwriter/americana/acoustic/roots music.

Forthcoming Acoustic Engine events are as follows:

Recorded songs from 8.30pm, first guest 9pm, hosted by Steve Roberts, technical excellence from Dan Dean.

Monday 16th August

The Great North Western Hoboes

New single ‘Between Catherine and Hope’ on The Viper Label out this month and a corking slice of summer pop it is, sounding not unlike Van Morrison meets the Velvets with Lee Mavers as the even grumpier referee. Bunk on the train and come and see them.

Elin Fflur

Welsh singer-songwriter prodigy of just 19 summers, already recognised in her homeland as a rare and wonderful talent. Her new album ‘Dim Gair’ is out now on Sain Records. A pleasure and a privilege to have her at Stamps.

Lizzie Nunnery

Firm friend and favourite of the Acoustic Engine, for the simple reason that she is great. Lizzie’s songs are bright, forthright and melodic, whether she’s singing about religion, love or being drunk. A unique voice.
