Glasswerk bands start new London live music night

Glasswerk's Jaded and Blusun are to promote a local band night in Acton to help out local bands and to try and get a bit of a local scene going.

The idea is the brainchild of brothers Edward and Dave Cooper, who are members of those respective bands. The first of these nights will be on the 24th August with the first band on at 9.00pm – upstairs at the Kings Head (214 High st, Acton, London, W3 9NX).

Tickets will be £3 and there will be a late license (till 1 am). Joint headliners for the first night will be Jaded and Blu Sun, with support from local group Hanger Lane. At the end of the night, the bands will be jamming and performing various covers.

Sounds like a great idea and a great night. Come down and support the night, and if there are local bands that would like to play, they should contact Jaded at mail
