Leeds based FULC return to the studio in October to record the follow up to last years album “Biting Insomnia”. FULC are booked into the Chapel Studios in South Thoresby, where the Darkness, Machine Head and Funeral for a Friend have been recent clients, to spend two weeks recording a mini album scheduled for release in February 2005 on Stunted Records, via Shellshock Distribution.
Following recording FULC will be undertaking a series of UK dates from mid October to end of November to road test the new material. Full details will be announced once the schedule has been finalised.
Prior to recording FULC play a couple of warm up shows, one being the Glasswerk In the City fringe event at the Dry Bar in Manchester on Sunday 19th Sept, alongside other Leeds bands such as Xi and Kram. The other date is at the Royal Park Cellars in Leeds on Friday 24th Sept, which is the opening night of the RPC autumn season and also features Ten Seconds of Chaos.
In other news it has been confirmed that following growing interest in
Europe, FULCs debut album “Biting Insomnia” will have an October release in Germany and Holland via Rough Trade Germany.
