The Thrills have joined the bill at Oxfam's Fair Trade gig on September 14th at London's Hammersmith Apollo. They will be performing alongside REM, Minnie Driver and Jamelia. Guests at last years event included Chris Martin, Noel Gallagher and Ms.Dynamite.
All profits for the London show go to Oxfam. Tickets are on sale now, and are priced £25 standing, and £30 seated. The ticketline number is 0870 606 3400.
The Thrills release their new album, Let's Bottle Bohemia through Virgin Records on September 13th. is the follow up to So Much For The City which has now sold over 500,000 copies in the UK. The album was critically acclaimed both sides of the Atlantic garnering NME, Brit Award nominations and a Q Award for Best New Act. It has sold over 200,000 copies in the US.
Let's Bottle Bohemia was produced by Dave Sardy (Marilyn Manson, Johnny Cash) and recorded in LA and New York earlier this year. It features appearances by Peter Buck on guitar and mandolin and string arrangements by the legendary Van Dyke Parks who worked with the Beach Boys on SMILE.
