Kevin Mark Trail

Kevin Mark Trail is to perform live in Manchester on the 3rd October, supported by Silva Surfa, at the Night and Day Cafe, Oldham Street, Manchester.

Kevin Mark Trail first came to prominence through his work with The Streets, providing vocals on tracks such as ‘Let’s Push Things Forward’ and ‘Same Old Show’, and touring the world with them to huge acclaim. He also collaborated with Nitin Sawnhey on his most recent album ‘Human’, co-writing and featuring on the track ‘Eastern Eyes’.

But 2004 sees Kevin step into the spotlight in his own right and unveil his unique sound. Formulated in his Wembley bedroom yet brought to life by a full band, ‘Perspective’ like the rest of ‘Just Living’, is a warm, honest and captivating record, incorporating flavas of soul and reggae but with a cool crossover vibe that demonstrates Kevin’s undoubted talents as a singer, songwriter and musician.

Silva Surfa – B-boy sampling, Manctronica, Burritos strums & 80s cartoon themes, such is the world inhabited by the hip hopping country, wave warrior Silva Surfa. Born in Weymouth and raised on the north coast of Cornwall but now surfing the streets of Manchester , Silva Surfa is the sound of a genuine respect for the past but enough youthful arrogance too surf it head on carving it into the future, playing songs from the Back To The Beach EP to be released by BlueBar Records.
