Aurora Borealis Music Launch Party

Aurora Borealis Music would like to invite you to their launch party on the 14th October. Despite hanging around the Liverpool scene for the past few months and organising many themed showcases and tribute evenings – including a Bob Dylan night – they are finally launching proper with a Northen Lights showcase at the Barlfy/Masque, Liverpool. As well as proving entertainment from the bands below there will be a free buffet and complimentary drink.

Performing are:

Auden Prim
Northern Lights veterans and Aurora Borealis Music favourites Auden Prim are sure to take over the music world if you are going to believe Gigwise magazine and Mary-Anne Hobbs (Radio1). These energetic Liverpool-based indie-rockers with the fantastic pop songs was a hit at this year’s In The City convention, and made headlines in all the papers at their recent mini tour in Norway.

Fans of Kate
Also Northern Lights veterans, asked back because they are simply amazing. Fly magazine named then “soon to blow up” and everyone who made their ‘In The City’ unsigned gig went out with a smile on their face and songs in their head. link

Skecher
The Wigan-brothers and their mate that make the line-up of Skecher recently supported Bryan Adams on two dates on his world tour. Not to miss!

With one of the best voices and largest personalities in Liverpool, Emma Sweeney is an act you won’t forget. Funky and full of energy, Justice is one of the few bands that deserves their name…

Laconic
Great melodies and a vulnerable and sensitive vocal, Laconic will make you daydream and fall in love…

DJs
The night will end with the eclectic mix of music from the PingPong Team and DJ Velveeta, making sure this is a night to remember.
