Zutons Cancel Remaining Tour Dates

The Zutons have been forced to cancel their remaining tour dates in Great Britain and Ireland. A viral infection infiltrated drummer Sean Payne’s system this weekend, and though he played through the illness this Saturday in Sheffield, a doctor has advised him to rest for the next week. “We're really gutted and distraught about it,” lead singer Dave McCabe was quoted as saying on the band’s site. “There wasn't enough time to get a stand-in for Sean. We promise we'll try and reschedule them for as soon as is humanly possible.”

The Zutons are promoting their debut album with the now-answered title Who Killed the Zutons? The band, which has opened for the Coral in past months, was set to play London tonight before finishing up their tour with three more dates.

Cancelled Dates:

10/26 London – Shepherd's Bush Empire
10/28 Derry – Nerve Centre
10/29 Belfast – Limelight
10/30 Dublin – Temple Bar
