MILKY GLOBE 'SOFT SEA' ON XFM

Milky Globe are to perform 'The Soft Sea' collaboration with Mark Beazley of Rothko on Nick Luscombe's XFM Flo-Motion show, Sunday 28 November at 10.30pm. One of a series of live collaborations between Milky Globe (Jon Tye) and Rothko (Mark Beazley), The Soft Sea is a narrative and musical journey called based on an original piece by Rod Mckuen and Anita Kerr, with narration by Jesse Pearson

Rothko will also play live on Monday 29th November 7-12 at the Big Chill Bar 91-95 dray walk (off brick lane) London E1 6QL. Along with showcasing new material from the forthcoming Rothko album ‘A Place Between’ due out on Lo in spring 2005, Special guests on the evening will include Laura B playing new and unreleased material from deep within her laptop.

The first Milky Globe release ‘Ode to a Beatbox’ featuring mixes from Mr G, Scsi 9 and EU is out now on Lo Recordings.
