When one of the biggest buzz bands of recent years simply demand that you tour with them on their forthcoming sold-out UK jaunt (10 dates, 2 Brixton Academy shows) you know you're probably doing things just about right. Well that's precisely what those ludicrously-good Kings Of Leon recently did – so fling your arms wide open and welcome in The Features.
Beginning life with a stint on sterling independent label Fierce Panda's School of World Domination in late 2003 (past students including Idlewild, Coldplay, Keane, Seafood etc), this affable Tennessee quartet have already released a handful of scandalously well-received singles ('The Beginning EP', 'A Million Ways To Sing The Blues' ) and ripped-up something of a storm at this year's Carling Festival with their incendiary crossbreed of filthy delta blues and garage rock edge (fuck 50-Cent's bottling, these boys were the real show-stealers).
Hand-picked by Kings Of Leon to support them on their entire December UK tour, The Features are also set to release a single – the awesome 'Leave It All Behind' – on December 13th.
