Deep throated old skool, Seattle grunge grooves reborn in Lincoln and plastered across the fine UK press. Who would have thought? Black #5 did as they took a chance on a roulette spin one hazy night a year ago, with the cash strapped bass player Dale Jeffery loading the table with all he had….and walked away with £8000 – enough to buy the band some decent equipment.
In only one year Black #5 have released their debut album (Last Few Hours – produced by Pat Grogan, Terrorvision, The Verve, Chumbawamba) to stunning critical acclaim and hit national airplay.
