Drowning under a sea of work that has to be done by Christmas? Dreading going back to work in January? Hate your boss? Frustrated by the mundane pointless tasks? Feel like you're selling your soul? THE OTHERS want to inspire people to get up and do want they really want to do. Live their dreams. Doing it themselves – be in a band, write fanzines, take photos, make videos, whatever. THE OTHERS release their new call-to-arms single 'LACKEY' on 17th January 2005 through Poptones/ Vertigo.

'LACKEY' will be available on 7″, CD, and DVD. The DVD will feature Lackey video + Guerilla Guide To Gigging Part 2 with footage from the gig on Abbey Road zebra crossing. The B-sides on the CD are 'King Prawn' and 'Neil Armstrong'. The 7″ will have a remix on the b-side.

The OTHERS have just finished recording their debut album, which will be released on 24th January 2005. They made their US live debut last month in New York at Vice magazine's 10th Birthday Party.

In December the London/Brighton quartet take their direct action rock'n'roll round the country on their newly announced 'COLD TURKEY CHRISTMAS' tour – their 4th of the year. The tour ends at London's Scala on Thursday 16th December:
