Bjork Sends In The Forces

Over the years since it was originally released in 1995 on the album Post, Björk has consistently been sent unsolicited re-mixes and cover versions of the song Army Of Me. Inspired no doubt by the growling techno-metal of the original, and the eclectic mixes that featured on the original singles, mixes and cover versions have ranged through from hi-energy to death-metal.

For years these versions of the song have lain, gathering dust, in a corner of Björk’s office. Björk has now decided to release these and new mixes and cover versions on a 2-CD album in order to raise funds for charity. But more mixes and cover versions are needed to complete the album; submissions are therefore invited from musicians working in all genres worldwide.

The deadlines for the new versions is January 17th as Björk and One Little want to rush-release the album at the end of February. Every version submitted will be listened to, and the final trackslisting will be drawn from new and old versions.

What to do:

All submissions must encoded to 128kbs mp3 and posted to mail.

Include the name of your band, DJ, remix and contact details, and include name of mix in subject line of email
