Marley Fury

Jamaicans are livid over Bob Marley's widow saying she's moving her husband's body to Ethiopia.

Radio call-in programs, newspapers and Internet chat rooms were burning up with people voicing opinions on the idea. Rita Marley has announced she will be moving Marley's body to a site south of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia because that's Marley's spiritual resting place. Not only were there complaints, but confusion. The Bob Marley Foundation, headed by Rita Marley, denied reports of her statement in Ethiopia. A spokesman for the family later issued a statement quoting her as saying Jamaica will remain Marley's resting place for the foreseeable future.
