It's Ragtime!

Ragtime Unsigned & Ragtime Live

Ragtime and mcr:music (publishers of The Unsigned Guide and promoters of the hugely successful Academy Unsigned at Manchester University) are proud to announce a brand new series of student targeted live music events and initiatives specifically aimed at the best emerging and unsigned bands and musicians from around the UK.

As one of the best on-line promotional platforms for unsigned bands in the UK, Ragtime Unsigned is promoted to students at every university throughout the UK every week via online newsletters and further promoted by Ragtime Live, the biggest series of university based gigs in the UK – a nationwide festival of live, unsigned music.

Ragtime Live is quite simply the highest profile series of unsigned events in the UK. Dates are already booked for the first round of Ragtime Live events in February 2005 at 400 capacity university venues in Manchester, Liverpool and London. The wider UK rollout of Ragtime Live events at universities including Birmingham, Bristol, Brunel, Leeds, Loughborough, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Reading, Teesside, Warwick and Westminster will commence in April 2005.
