Rammstein!

German rock sextet, RAMMSTEIN are set to release their new single “Keine Lust” on 14 February through Universal/Island Records, taken from their fourth studio album “Reise Reise” which was released in the UK in September 2004.

Rammstein are Flake Lorenz (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass), Christoph Schneider (drums), Paul Landers (guitar), Richard Z. Kruspe Bernstein (guitar) and Till Lindemann (vocals). There have been no line up changes since the band was established in 1993.

The band’s last album “Mutter” was released in 2001 and spawned a number of singles including the first top 40 UK hit (Feuer Frei) sung in German. The album went on to achieve gold status in the UK and sold in excess of 100,000 copies. Rammstein sing in German. In contrast to most of their colleagues, they have never sought to do otherwise. “Why should we?” ask Rammstein. “We wanted to do our own thing, and that has to do with where we come from. And we are from the German nation.”

“Keine Lust” is the second single to be taken from album “Reise Reise”. The first single “Amerika” was the first time the band had recorded and released a song that was partly sung in English.

“Keine Lust” will be released as a CD, 7” and DVD and the formats are as follows:

CD (1. Keine Lust, 2. Ohne Dich – Remix, 3. Mutter Orchesterlised – Album Version)

7″ (A. Keine Lust, B. Du Hast – Live)

DVD (1. Keine Lust, 2. Mein Teil, 3. Mein Teil – Video, 4. Mein Teil – EPK)

Rammstein are set to play the following sold out UK shows next month:

Thursday 3 February – LONDON Brixton Academy
Friday 4 February – LONDON Brixton Academy
