Massive Attack and Portishead Announce 2nd Tsunami Date

As a result of tickets selling out in less than an hour for the Tsunami – Crisis In Asia Gig in Bristol on 19th February, a second date has now been added. Massive Attack, Portishead, Robert Plant & The Coral will now all be appearing at a second date on Sunday 20th February at the Bristol Academy.

These two shows are preceded by a Blowpop club night on Saturday 12th February at the Bristol Academy. This also has an unmissable line-up which includes James Lavelle, Ronnie Size, Geoff Barrows & John Stapleton amongst others. For full details go to link

All proceeds from this event will go to support Oxfam’s life-saving humanitarian response in Asia. Tickets are priced at £30 and will be available through the Bristol Ticket Shop & Bristol Academy from Saturday 5th February 2005.

For those who miss out on tickets do not fear!! Thanks to a new media triumvirate of Hyperlaunch, Mediawave & 7Digital; the concert on 19th is confirmed to be webcasted live on a pay-per-view basis costing £4.50. Visitors will also be able to return to the show streams without further charge for one month after the event. We have had an overwhelming response from websites who are going to feature and promote this. This is shaping up to be the biggest webcast event of 2005.
