Morrissey To Release Live DVD

Morrissey's celebratory May 2004 homecoming show is to be released as a live DVD.

The concert, which took place at Manchester's MEN Arena on May 22nd, saw the Mancunian legend celebrate his 45th birthday with 20,000 well-wishers for a one off date.

The DVD includes live performances of hits including “Irish Blood, English Heart”, “Every Day Is Like Sunday”, “First Of The Gang To Die”, “I Have Forgiven Jesus” and “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out” – taken from his performance at Manchester's Move Festival.

Who Put The “M” In Manchester?” also contains the music videos for “Irish Blood, English Heart”, “First Of The Gang To Die” (U.K. version), “First Of The Gang To Die” (U.S. version) and “I Have Forgiven Jesus”.

The DVD has been given a release date of April 4 and will be accompanied in record shops across the UK by a live album release, 'Morrissey Live At Earl's Court', featuring tracks from his sold out UK tour.

There is also (as previously reported by Glasswerk) a petition to bring the moody manc back home, see here – link
