Departure Time

Following their recent support slots with Gang Of Four, Graham Coxon, and Placebo, hotly-tipped Northampton 5-piece The Departure hit the road again in April in support of their brilliant new single 'Lump In My Throat'.

Released on 4th April and already picking up daytime support at Radio 1, 'Lump In My Throat' is another swaggering slice of art-rock perfection from The Departure, which can only enhance their burgeoning reputation following last years¹ Top 40 singles, 'All Mapped Out' and 'Be My Enemy'. With their debut album 'Dirty Words' due to be released in June, The Departure are poised to be THE new band of 2005.

The Departure will also play a venue in Camden, London NW1 on Thursday March 10th as part of Xfm's Camden Crawl.
