The biggest band in the Watford-SE London-Harlow triumvirate, Battle, have announced details of their debut single plus a tour with The Rakes. Having previously been described as the evil twin of Bloc Party, Battle manage to mix 80's synth and sinister drumming, whilst maintaining a strong grasp of what it takes to write an anthem.
Debut single ‘Isabelle’ will be released on CD format on Fierce Panda records on April 18th. It will be backed with ‘Feel The Same’. Available in all good record shops as well as link. The band will be heading out on a whistlestop tour of the country(ish) at the end of March with The Rakes. Calling at:

Battle will be doing doing a Steve Lamacq live session on April 11th around 9.15pm. Additionally, they will be appearing on Radio 6’s My Favourite New Band feature with Steve Lamacq again on Sunday, March 13th around 3pm.
