With ten-million album sales under their belt, Garbage are set to release ‘Why Do You Love Me’ on March 28th as the first single to be taken from their eagerly-anticipated fourth album ‘Bleed Like Me’, which follows on April 11th.
Produced by Tony Hoffer (The Thrills, Turin Brakes), the dazzling ‘Why Do You Love Me’ is one of the most aggressive moments of ‘Bleed Like Me’ and features an explosive and frenetic chorus complimented by a melody that Butch Vig describes as Spector-esque, marking Garbage’s thundering return to their original hard rock sound.
As vocalist Shirley Manson remarked of the album’s recording process, “For the first time in a long time, the boys went in and set up amps and made it super loud and just played. I think you can feel that. The guitars sound great because of that.”
Garbage will support the release of ‘Bleed Like Me’ with a full UK tour in April, with dates to be announced as they’re confirmed.
