An unstoppable mix of big riffs, catchy songs and remarkable lyrics, The GA*GA*S exploded onto the rock scene last year when storming debut double a-side ‘Replica/KO’ sold out in just a week, seeing the single deservedly voted in Kerrang’s reader’s poll as tenth best single of 2004 and earning the band deserved places in the top ten Best Newcomer sections of both the Kerrang and Rocksound reader’s polls. This led to the band signing a major deal with Sanctuary and continue this success, with second single “SEX” and debut album “Tonight the Midway Shines” going top five and top twenty respectively in the BBC Official Top 40 Rock Charts.

The band have achieved similar acclaim for their remarkable live shows, their look and sound being compared to the heavyweight likes of Guns N’ Roses, Jane’s Addiction, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard. While the band certainly has the iconic look and stadium filling sounds of those bands, what sets them apart from the likes of The Darkness is a purity and depth to their sound that sees them rise above hair metal clichés to forge a path of their own. With new single “Left of Centre” poised to send the band mega, there really is no better time to see the band than now, before Brit Rock’s Saviors™ are playing stadiums.
“… a coruscating collection of rock brawlers and low-slung mood movements… what so many have waited so long for. Rock with intelligence and heart, soul and libido. A future worth having now. KKKK” Steve Beebee- KERRANG!
“… a lumbering giant that will never let up, and you never want it to. It's a brilliant, carefully crafted assault on the senses. 8/10” Mike Haydock- Rocksound
