Engerica are a simply stunning new band who are going to make 2005 their year; they are David Gardner (guitar/vocals), Michael Stuart Webster (bass) and Neil Ross Gregory (drums). Formed in 2000, Engerica have created an army of fans throughout the country with a series of live shows and two noisily delicious independent singles.
By the end of 2004 after their immense independent success, the band were being courted by record companies and chose to sign with Sanctuary Records. Currently in the studio finishing a no holds barred colossus of a debut album the band will be taking the opportunity to give fans a chance to grab a sneak preview of their awesome riff crunching sound on this tour with Million Dead.
Engerica bring new and exciting ideas to the British music scene, powerful and precise riff laden tunes mix with intelligent and immediate lyrics to make an instantly addictive whirlwind of music. With influences like Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins, Engerica have learned from some of the seminal best, whilst making music that is very much their own.
