MAGIC NUMBERS VIDEO

The Magic Numbers release their much-anticipated first single ‘Forever Lost’ on 23rd May on Heavenly Recordings/EMI Records.

The hottest new band in Britain at the moment, The Magic Numbers, follow the release of their limited 7” ‘Hymn For Her’ with their first fully available single ‘Forever Lost’. They have melodies, charisma, and songs that come on all lazy and mellow, then get inside and burn you. More than anything, they are refreshing. Nothing remotely fake.

No band has transcended trends and scenes like The Magic Numbers. Refreshingly, anti-cynical, they make melodies and harmonies that gush through from outer space, via Trinidad, New York and Ealing. They live in a space that others would get lost in.

After playing a now legendary residency at the Borderline before Christmas and a sell-out co-headline tour with Hal, receiving a rapturous response at SXSW and prestigious support slots with Doves and Athlete the band have announced their own headline dates in May.

Tue 10 May: Cardiff, Ilfor Bach
Wed 11 May: Brighton, Concorde 2
Thu 12 May: London, Forum
Fri 13 May: Bristol, Fiddlers
Sun 15 May: Birmingham, Academy 2
Mon 16 May: Manchester, Academy 2
Tue 17 May: Glasgow, King Tuts
Wed 18 May: Leeds, Cockpit
Thu 19 May: Sheffield, Fuzz Club
Sat 21 May: Oxford, Zodiac

The Magic Numbers will be performing at many of the festivals, with the release of their debut album they promise to be one of the sounds of the summer.
