Mercury Prize and Brit nominated singer songwriter Tom McRae will be making two
in-store appearances at Fopp stores this May. The 3rd of May will see him playing Fopp in Bath at one o’ clock, followed by a two o’ clock performance on the 4th of May at Fopp in London’s Covent Garden.
The in-stores will support the release of Tom’s new album ‘All Maps Welcome’ which, as with his previous two albums, showcases the rare and singular talent which has won him so many fans in the past. ‘All Maps Welcome’ is the long awaited follow up to ‘Just Like Blood’ (2003) which as well as being hailed by the critics, sold over 80,000 copies and spawned two Top 30 singles. Tom will be performing at Fopp before playing a series of London shows later in the month, and touring with Tori Amos later this summer.
Fopp In-stores have become something of an institution; Tom will be following in
the footsteps of Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture and Tenacious D who have all played at Fopp stores in recent years.
