Eurovision 2005 – Javine to Touch Europes Fire?

It's that special time of the year again as the Eurovision Song Contest looms around the corner.

The UK's entry this year is from ex pop rival contestant Javine, with the self penned r&b track “Touch My Fire”. Competing against the likes of Gina G, Katie Price and Andy Scott-Lee, Javine wowed with a dazzling performance on the show Making Your Mind Up, getting the majority from over a million votes to represent the UK this year.

Looks like the UK is in with a real chance, the asian tinged Touch My Fire has been getting good interest, and besides, Javine is the UK's hottest entry since Cheryl Baker with Bucks Fizz.

Eurovision takes place in Kiev on Saturday 21st May, the Touch My Fire single is out on May 16th!
