Komakino Replace the Sick Nine Black Alps
With tours supporting Bloc Party, Razorlight and Hope of the States and praise from Steve Lamacq already under their distressed leather belts, Derby 5-piece Komakino are set to start a riotous fuss with the release of their debut single ‘Say Something Else’ through Drowned in Sound Recordings in July.
To kick things off the band have been invited to replace Nine Black Alps on the NME Rizla Inspired New Music Tour 2005 as singer Sam Forrest has fallen ill. They play with Maximo Park this week in Portsmouth and Gloucester. Catch them at the following shows:
