The Rat Pack of Rock, The Glitterati, release their new single “Heartbreaker” through Atlantic Records on May 23rd, 2005. “Heartbreaker” is the second single, after Top 40 single, “You Got Nothing On Me”, to be lifted from their self-titled debut album, which was unleashed on April 25th.
The Glitterati formed just two years ago. Paul, Jon, Nic and Billy were in different bands in their hometown of Leeds. Jamie had moved down to London. All had grown frustrated by the limited vision of their peers but when the five came together in a new band, everything clicked.
2004 was a blur as the band began to carve their path. The band toured incessantly, with each successive tour, The Glitterati just got better and better. In July 2004 they flew to Los Angeles to record songs for the debut album which bought lauded producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses– Appetite for Destruction) to the helm.
Brash and brilliant. That’s what rock ‘n’ roll should be…That’s The Glitterati.
