Visible Noise Records and Metal Hammer Magazine present 'ROCK IDLE' the best unsigned Rock competition in the land!!!
Following on from last years success, with winners 'Shape of my Addiction' gaining press and support slots with Bullet for my Valentine (as well as a whole host of Marshall and Lowlife goodies), this year things are getting even better.
Along with press support from Metal Hammer, Amplifiers from Marshal and some cool clothes from Lowlife, the winners of this year's competition will also get a development deal with Visible Noise Records, for a release in 2006!
The event will again take place at the only true all ages club event in London, Subverse at Camden Underworld on the 2nd of October, with the finalists being announced in the September issue of Metal Hammer. We are looking for demos from all across the Uk, and we want anything from rock, metal, industrial, punk, emo, hardcore, ska, but please no solo acts (or MP3's!!!).
All you need to do is send you 2/3 track demo with a biog (and band pic if available) to:
Rock Idle
231 Portobello road
London
W11 1LT
The whole event will also be headlined by an as yet un-announced major act, and shall take place between 2pm and 7pm on the Sunday the 2nd October.
So spread the word, and send those demos in!!!
