The musical beast that is Castle Rock returns to the glorious surroundings of Launceston Castle on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd July, and it looks like being the biggest and best one yet.
Now in it’s fourteenth year, Castle Rock is Cornwall’s longest running and much-loved music festival; Catering for all tastes, with everything on offer from jazz, funk, folk and blues to indie, punk, rock and metal.
The festival kicks off on Friday evening with a top selection of DJ's playing house, hard house and trance in the dance tent between 8pm and 1am.
Headline act confirmed as DJ M-Zone , supported by Terry T , Louk , Mike Steventon and Josh Hall .
Tickets for Friday’s dance night cost £5 in advance or £6 on the night. Over 16’s only!
Then on Saturday up to 30 of the finest local, UK and international touring bands/artists will be performing live over two stages between 12pm and 1am.
Main Stage: REUBEN (Headline), Fleeing New York, TAT, Offshore, The Needles, We Were For, Driverdown, B*Movie Heroes, Sanguine, Died Smiling, Adverse Polarity, Burning Coalition and Rich Man’s Plaything.
Second Stage line-up includes Backdoor Men (Headline), Emily Maughan, Men Of Splendor, 2 Foot Giant, The Hitchcock Rules, Baby Astrolab, The Chinaski Effect, Flick, Redwing, The Rushes, Powderstrip and Energia………More acts to be announced shortly.
Gates open at 11am on Saturday and as it’s a community event, it’s open to people of all ages.
On site there will be a Main Stage, Second Stage, bar, sideshows, stalls and food stands.
Tickets for Saturday’s all-day live music feast cost £7 in advance or £8 on the day. Weekend tickets cost £12.
