GLASTO REVIEW

“Glastonbury is under water” the news reporter said as we all tuned in to listen to the biggest bands of the moment at Glastonbury last Friday. Thunderstorms interrupted the heat wave, bringing with them a deluge of rain, flooding one camp-site and wreaking havoc with the electrics, causing Friday's start to be delayed and the subsequent cancellation of some opening acts.

But, lured by the overwhelming appeal of The White Stripes, The Killers, KT Tunstall and a zillion other big name acts, Glasswerk reviewers Ben Graham and Marc Arnold bought some wellies, stuck two fingers up to Mother Nature in the true spirit of Glastonbury, and reviewed the event with waterproof notepads and spacepens.
