Ice cold Danish sleaze rock duo the Ravonettes, and Noel Gallagher's favourite scousers The Stands will both be playing in-store acoustic sets at two different branches of record store Fopp. Both gigs will take place on Tuesday the 26th of July, with the Ravonettes kicking off at 2:00pm at the Earlham street branch in London. An hour before that The Stands will be giving the people of Manchester a taste of their bizzarely named new album 'Horse Fabulous' at the Fopp store in Brown Street.
What's could possibly be better than than wasting work or school time in a record shop? Why, it's wasting time in record shop with quality bands playing. And you can see people getting irratated by the crowds whilst trying to find the best of Genesis or something.
Fopp has built up a reputation for letting brilliant up and coming bands play in-store gigs, Franz Ferdinand and The Magic Numbers have both played at Fopp stores.
So during you lunch hour, don't bother with the cafteria head down to Fopp and see two excellent bands playing in an intimate setting.
