DEEP ELM ANNOUNCES BANDS TO APPEAR ON THIS IS INDIE ROCK: VOLUME 3

Scheduled for worldwide release on November 08, 2005, Volume 3 of Deep Elm's new compilation series

THIS IS INDIE ROCK: THE BEST BANDS YOU'VE NEVER HEARD will feature

Free Diamonds (Newcastle, England),

Campsite (Copenhagen, Denmark),

Encyclopedia (Somerset, England),

Annuals (Raleigh, NC),

Konrad (Rock Island, IL),

Broken October (Oakland, CA),

Popmonster (Basel, Switzerland),

Element (Portadown, N. Ireland),

Satellite Of June (St. Jean, Quebec, Canada),

Reed KD (Santa Cruz, CA),

Almighty Flying Machine (Charlotte, NC)

and Softer (Portland, ME).

Bands were selected from over 1,000 submissions.

Created to document the music, spirit and resolve of the independent artist, each volume of THIS IS INDIE ROCK features twelve or more unreleased and exclusive songs from the hottest new indie rock bands/ artists throughout the world. You'll find a diverse mixture of hardcore,

punk, rock, emo, metal, pop and more.

THIS IS INDIE ROCK has already proven to be a springboard for several talented young bands.

Most recently, The Forecast (who appeared on Volume 2) joined the ranks of Victory Records.

Several other bands on Volume 2 have also released records with independent labels: Jena Berlin (Watch The City Burn), Meredith Bragg (Kora Records) and The Call Up (Lonsome Recordings). From Volume 1, Clair De Lune and Secondhand Stories signed with Deep Elm, while

Lakota and The Kidcrash joined Pop Up and Lujo Records, respectively.

Additional volumes of THIS IS INDIE ROCK will be released on a rolling basis. There is no deadline for submission. Submission is open to any independent artist, signed or unsigned, throughout the world. Bands selected to participate receive worldwide distribution, promotion,
