The Dry Bar will be hosting a commemorative event for the late John Peel as part of events taking place over the UK. Young Merseyside bands and acts have been invited to take to the stage and perform their own fitting tribute to the legendary Radio One DJ who originated from Merseyside.
The Dry Bar tribute gig takes place on the 10th / 11th October and is part of a series of events for 14-18 year olds to showcase local musical talent. The project also enables those interested in other aspects of the music industry such as events management and promotion, marketing, journalism and sound technology to get involved with hands on experience and gaining expert advice from industry professionals.
