London based Million Dead bring their distinctive brand of hardcore to Nottingham Rock City on what is to be their swan song tour. Following Monday’s (12th September) announcement, the band are set to go their separate ways after this, their biggest UK tour to date.
Given their growing popularity, and the critical success of this year’s sophomore effort Harmony No Harmony, it seems a shame to think we shall be hearing no more of them. Then again, on the bright side, there’s nothing like a farewell tour to bring out the best (or worst) in a band, and given the spirit Million Dead have always shown playing live, the smart money’s on this being a belter.
Those in the know will already be licking their lips in anticipation of the show, but Million Dead are a band who can sway non-believers with their energy and ear for a tune. Metal-heads and indie kids alike should trot along this Saturday (17th) and see what they’ve been missing…
