GLC, Reuben and Art Brut are among many leading British bands involved in an exciting innovative art exhibition running this Autumn.
Eggsy and Adam Hussein from Goldie Looking Chain; Jamie Lenman from Reuben and Eddie Argos, vocalist for London-based artrock pioneers Art Brut have got together to exhibit a lot more than music!
Swapping soundchecks for sketchpads, the Rock Isn't All About Geology exhibition offers an intimate glimpse into a different side of the rock scene.
Fronted by some of Britain's newest array of musicians, their creative
offerings are brought together to celebrate art.
Other contributors include: Nash Francis of Johnny Panic, whose work is usually seen gracing the band's CD covers; and Chris Judge, lead bass player for Dubliners The Chalets.
It runs from Monday 7th November to Saturday 17th December at The West End Centre in Aldershot. Admission is free, and the gallery will be open from Monday to Friday 10 am to 5pm and at other times by prior arrangement.
There is a special viewing on Saturday 26th November. From 7pm visitors can explore the exhibition whilst Engerica and others play live! Tickets are only £3 and are available from the box office (01252 330040) now, or visit the website
