Yes, you did read that correctly! The bunch behind the Lost & Found Swap Shop at this year's Bestival have come up with another frankly ridiculous but superb concept for this Saturday's Bestival Reunion Party at Koko… and you're gonna love it! What's more, you could win yourself a Bestival 2006 ticket!
The idea runs thusŠ:
You lot turn up wearing the silliest hat you can find (any hat will do, and some will be provided if you ain't got one). The Hat Scrabble team will quickly spot you & furnish your hat with a random letter. It is then up to you to find people with other letters to make up a word. Once you've got a suitably silly word together, head over to Hat Scrabble HQ where their dictionary boffins will verify your word. Once verified, they'll take a photo of you forming your word and then flash it up onto the big screen onstage for everyone else to see (& laugh at). The creators of the silliest word, as judged by the Hat Scrabble Team and Rob da Bank, all win themselves tickets to next years' Bestival!!
In case you need reminding, the Bestival Reunion Party / Sunday Best Xmas Party will also feature:
The Cuban Brothers
Max Sedgley (live)
Rob da Bank
Kitty Daisy & Lewis (live)
Son of Dave (live)
The Laundrettas present the Hidden Disco
The night will run from 9pm to 3am and will cost £10.
Tickets are available now from: Ticketweb link tickets bought from Ticketweb will incur a £1.20 booking fee per ticket plus £1.50 per order for postage. You can opt to pick up your tickets at the venue on the night however and, therefore, not pay the postage charge.
