Rumours About The Young Knives Going on Tour

Rumour, conjecture, lies, gossip and spin. Dirty little half-truths spoken on the QT, hushed conversations over working lunches. A knowing wink to the wise. Tall tales, cliques and whispers… These gutter dwelling facets of the music industry are what concern The Young Knives on their brand new single, ‘Here Comes The Rumour Mill’, and who are we to argue?

To coincide with the single’s release, Henry, House Of Lords and Oliver went out on a massive headline tour of the United Kingdom during the cold months of November and December. Playing to rapturous crowds across the country the band made lots of new friends on the way: hoards of students chanting House’s name like a terrace anthem, some amazing new songs previewed and late night gymnastics in car parks… Indeed, it was a tour to remember.

‘The Decision’ was accompanied by one of the most original and darkly comic music videos in recent memory. Like an episode of Last Of The Summer Wine distilled through The League Of Gentlemen, the video sat in the top 10 of the NME/MTV2 charts for two months.

2006 looks set to be a vintage year for the three bespectacled men from
