Batfinks A.K.A Steven Wareing is a one-man living and breathing music machine. The music he creates ranges from the heart-poundingly insane to the spine-tinglingly moving. Just when his pounding beats have you begging for mercy his floating melodies will wrap you up and you’ll drop you on a nice fluffy cloud where you’ll drift away in bliss. This guy is pure genius, everyone should experience the magic he creates.

Ernest Herb is the alter ego of Sam Ely is a real crowd pleaser. The soulful hip-hop he creates lifts the whole room and with Jerome’s powerful voice bouncing off every wall they cannot fail to get any party going.

Milkthief have a sound that could only come from four friends from very different musical backgrounds. It’s all in there, house and hip-hop, soul, funk and jazz. It all comes together to create something quite unique. It’s different but the warm sound sits well with everyone who hears it. Melodic, warm, inspirational sounds that build to a fevered feistiness at times, yet has the emotional awareness to reach the individual. Manchester has brought them together and having recently topped the Glasswerk chart they look set to take the city by storm.
Live on Michelle Around Midnight, BBC GMR “Keep your eyes and ears open for this band.”

Kristyna Myles and Ben Williams…the delightfully silky smooth tones of jazz singer Kristyna and soft strumming of Ben were recently heard by the Manchester Evening News whilst they were busking on Market Street. They were later contacted by BBC Radio 5 Live to be in a national busking competition in October 2005 which they won. Being live on the radio gained them acclamation from KT Tunstall, recognition from a music agency and an acclaimed producer in London; things are really starting to happen for this talented duo. Kristyna and the Truetones is their 9 piece jazz/r&b extravaganza but do not miss this chance to hear them stripped down to the raw enchanting sound that won the hearts of the thousands that voted for them.
