Revl9n are the mysterious musical missing link between Gina X, Early
Madonna, Abba, Peaches, The Slits, Human League, In The Garden-era
Eurythmics, the dfa, Gary Numan, Buffalo Girls, Glass Candy & Joan Jett, all uniquely spliced into a fantasy world of Agent Provocateur underwear, dark defiance, twisted humour, sonic bondage and lusty pop voyeurism that see's them forging a distinct and dangerous new sound for 2006.
Now signed to uber chic Parisian based label Because Music the trio have set about writing and recording their debut album, to be released in late Spring.
Revl9n are currently preparing to pat down your town with the
unleashing of their cerebral and wet tongue lashing, first in the form of a
limited release Walking Machine¹ a dark and throbbing electro-pop anthem, backed by mixes courtesy of Simian Mobile Disco, French nu-electro maestro Sebastien of the infamous Ed Bangers crew, Hot Chip & more, followed by a display of musical plumage both in the live arena and sonically speaking, and then by some hot shit that will make your eyes water but that my friends is another story entirely, for another day be sure to watch this space for details.
