New Order announce European tour

To promote the release of their greatest hits collection Singles, veteran synth-rockers New Order have announced a series of European summer festival appearances, to be followed by a UK tour in October. Following their headline slot at Glastonbury last year, the Mancunian veterans will play Liverpool's Summerpops festival on July 8th, the Summercase events in Madrid (July 14) and Barcelona (July 15), and Dublin's Electric Picnic on September 2nd, before returning to the UK to play the Newcastle Academy (October 11), Blackpool Empress Ballroom (16), Glasgow Academy (18), Wembley Arena (27, with support from Maximo Park) and Wolverhampton Civic Hall (29).
