Rox Festival 2006 cop the Fun Lovin’ Criminals

New York’s finest, the Fun Lovin’ Criminals are to headline this year’s Rox Music and Arts Festival at Bognor Football Stadium on Monday May 29th. They will supported by some of the UK’s hottest new bands such as The Scream, Carmen Rosa, Dakota, Desert Rain and Joey Nightmare.

The band kicked off their world tour in January following the release of their new album ‘Livin’ in the City’; released by DiFontaine/Sanctuary last year. So far, they have appeared in Tallinn and Vilnius in Lithuania, Athens and Theslonki in Greece, Sofia in Bulgaria, and Moscow and St. Petersburgh in Russia. Therefore, the organisers of this year’s Rox Festival are proud to announce that the Fun Lovin’ Criminals will be coming in from the cold to join in the seaside festivities at Bognor Regis.

Support acts on the night include the renowned Bognor based Mark Keen Band and Black Mariah from London. This will be the Fun Lovin’ Criminals only appearance in the region for some time, so early ticket booking is strongly recommended.

On Sunday 28th, the festival will feature a hotbed of unsigned bands and artists throughout the day across two stages. Sunday’s line-up boasts a diverse mixture of musical genres featuring both bands from the local area and from all over the country. The evening’s entertainment is headlined by The John Otway Big Band on their flamboyant World Tour. In true Glastonbury style, the festival will be packed with fringe activities including Music workshops with special guest ‘Fred’s Flying Circus’, market stalls and art exhibitions.

Tickets for both days are available from Ticketweb, which can be found on the Rox web site at link

More details about this popular Festival which enters its 16th year will be available in the lead up to the event so check local press and radio for details or keep an eye on the web site.
