Jack White and co have extended their UK tour following their recent show at the Reading and Leeds Carling Weekend Festival. The Raconteurs have added an extra London date due to popular demand and will get the series of gigs underway at the (no doubt sold out) Glasgow Academy on October 14. Despite his new projects instant success Jack White still maintains his main priority is The White Stripes and it remains to be seen if he will get back together with sister Meg any time soon.

Meanwhile the band have also been confirmed to play at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, due to be held on August 31.
