Merseyside Choir Seeks New Talent
Merseyside youth street gospel choir 'One Heart One Voice' who have received national acclaim performing alongside Ms Dynamite and appearing on Channel 5's 'Colin & Justin's Wedding Bells; is now on the look out for a number of talented young singers to join its ranks.
The youth choir has been developed for Underground Sounds, an MDA & MZONE project run by One Heart Productions. The project attracts young people between the ages of 12 and 18 from a range of different backgrounds by getting them involved and developing their skills in music, singing and performance.
The Choir's Musical Director is the renowned Tyndale Thomas who has worked extensively with world famous artists including Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone and Rick Wakeman. He commented ” The choir have achieved so much already, and the dedication from the young people involved is utterly inspiring. They are as professional as anyone else I've worked with and are an absolute pleasure to work with.”
Project leader, Nze said 'We're looking for dedicated, punctual young singers who are not only talented but will be committed to the choir and put in 110%. We are excited to offer young people in Merseyside this opportunity who can build upon the choir's previous successes and take it to the next level.'
Auditions will be taking place on the 25th August from 4pm – 7pm at The
Almia Centre, Sefton Street, Liverpool 8. (The bottom of Parliament Street, turn right, 4 blocks down on the right)
